Social Media Guidelines

As members of the St. Louis Forum, we invite you to participate in discussions, post content that is valuable and relevant to our membership, and actively network with other group members. We have created a private group channel on LinkedIn and a page on Facebook to encourage networking and provide new channels in which to grow professionally and personally. On our website, if you are a member and login, we now have a Member Message Board that you can engage with members through the website.

Please respect the rules, as follows:

  • Be respectful of all
  • Bring value to discussions
  • Do not self-promote
  • Highlight trends and share resources
  • Help us be smarter, better leaders
  • Share job opportunities (unless you are a recruiter. We ask that recruiters refrain from using this as tool for their business.)

Inappropriate content could include:

  • Harassing, abusive or threatening postings/comments
  • Attacking individuals or groups
  • Derogatory, unprofessional, or disrespectful comments
  • Infringing on intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties
  • Promotion for personal or professional gain

If your social media contribution violates the guidelines, we will flag your content and/or block you from the group.
